Today on the podcast is Jessica McClain!
Jess is the alternate for the US Olympic Marathon Team. She placed 4th in stunning fashion at the 2024 US Olympic Marathon Trials running 2:25:46, a personal best by nearly four minutes.
If you're not familiar with Jess, she was a 7-time All-American while representing Stanford University, and prior to that Jess Tonn qualified all four years for the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships for Xavier College Preparatory. Jess won 14 individual state titles, two in cross country and 12 in Track and Field in Arizona Interscholastic Association. Bottom line, Jess has been at the top of her game at every stage of her carrer.
Jess also very successfully holds a full-time job and gives back through working with a Non-Profit in her community.
In today's conversation, Jess goes through her day-to-day life, the build into the trials, her future ambitions in and out of sport, and so much more! This conversation was a gem, and I hope you'll take the time to listen to it.

1:35.9 | Jess had, I would say, the race of her life at this past 2004 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando. |
1:43.0 | She placed fourth, and so she'll be the U.S. |
1:45.7 | alternate for that team for the 2024 Paris Olympics, which is super exciting. And so much went |
