I'm your host, Neil Reynolds, and I'm joined as ever by my partner from North America, Jeff Reimbolden.

Jeff, we get to talk some football today after a week off.

And it's been a rough week for me personally.

My mom died last week.

And, you know, this is a chance for me to talk some football.

You'll be my therapy, my friend.

Well, I'm glad to do it. You know, I had you in my prayers every day last week. I know you and

your mother were very close and, you know, losing a parent is a really difficult thing. And,

you know, I thought about it all week and, you know, it's going to be like you say, it's going to be

good to just talk ball and think about other things for even if it's just for an hour.

Just for an hour, exactly. I put it to one side for an hour. She was there at every one of my

games, Jeff, that I played as well. She was a nervous spectator. Let's put it that way. You know what? She had to really wonder, what in the heck is my son doing at this game?

You know, think about people from her generation had no idea what that crazy game was.

And there you are out there getting banged around and catching passes.

And, you know, it must have been really a thrill

for but she must have been sitting up there biting her nails most of the time yeah absolutely

i had a few coaches who wonder what i was doing out on the field as well but we're going to look at

this busy time in the NFL of course the league year league year starts on Wednesday, March the 9th.

There's lots of moves happening already.
