Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one, is it corporate tax

labor plans. Yep, you heard that right. All right, Jake, let's get into it. We are leading

Punch Bull News AM with an interesting story here behind the scenes at a House Republican lunch this

week, Budget Committee chair, Jody Erington, the Republican from Texas, was presenting a series

of slides when he landed on the suggestion that set people on and off Capitol Hill into a frenzy,

raising the corporate tax rate. Preserving the 21% corporate rate from the 2017 Trump tax cuts is a red line for

plenty of Republicans and Trump himself is even called for cutting it further, Jake. What in the

world was Jody Arrington thinking?

I'm not quite sure because there's no chance. I mean, listen, we're getting into the Trump administration, so there's a chance of, you know, you learn to say in these times that there's,

you know, you shouldn't say there's no chance, but I would put it at the barrel scraping bottom of the list that Donald Trump

would agree to raise the corporate tax rate. And Jody Errington says it was a mistake that he had a

slide in a presentation to the RSC that said he should raise the tax rate, raise the corporate

tax rate. So, you know, I, that's,

that's quite a mistake to make. It's not a comma or, you know, the sentence didn't make sense,
