of a new book whose name is much more self-explanatory. It's called What If to additional serious

scientific answers to absurd hypothetical questions. Welcome, Randall. Hey, thanks so much for having me on. Randall, thanks for adjusting your schedule. We're going to do this in person. We're doing remote instead. I want to talk to about a bunch of things, but we'll talk about the book first because it's new. For the people who don't know who you are, don't know what XKCD is, how would you describe the book to them. Because the people who know who at XKCD is, are going to go buy your book.

For those folks who haven't read or don't even know, they probably have read XKCD, they just

don't know. What is the book? It's sort of like a dear Abby for people who want to

crash planets into each other.

So people send in like their most ridiculous science questions and then I do my best to, you know, figure out a real research answer and then solve it, you know, using science and

math.

And then write up my explanation and illustrate it using my stick figure comics.

These are, these are great questions.
