Hello, everyone. Welcome to the Inside the Birds post-game show. I'm Jeff Mosher. That's Adam Kaplan. And man, are the Eagles going to make you sweat all year long? It's pretty obvious.

It's been seven weeks and not much has changed.

However, the big difference in week seven against the Vikings, Adam, they snapped

their two-game losing streak.

They get a win that they absolutely needed 28 to 22.

They never trailed and yet you never felt they had the game in the bag until the last

two possessions of the game, which is kind of how it goes for the Eagles this year.

But Adam, I'll say two things. We saw the triumphant return of two really important things for

the Eagles. One, a playmaking defense that causes takeaways and turnovers and two a deep passing game where

jill and hertz is able to get the ball deep to receivers and he was overthrowing guys in the past

he wasn't it wasn't connecting for a little bit well those were really important in the second half

and i think if you take the two things we're most responsible for the eagles win It's those, the, the interceptions and the

late passing game. Resiliency. This team was mentally tough despite being short-handed. They lost

a number of players in the game. If you thought they were paper-thinid edge, now they've,

they're down to a thimble. I mean, it is, they ended the game with three edge rushers. I mean, that's where they're at. The BG rumors, which are true, by the way, for definitely true about him strongly considering coming back. Now, we'll talk about that briefly later when we talk about defense, but this was a mentally tough deal here. And Hertz just keeps coming, man. He keeps

throwing. He keeps throwing. He was successful. It's funny. When I looked at the numbers,

I thought for sure he had more than 23 attempts, but he didn't. It just had a number of big plays

with those 23 attempts. He had a perfect passer rating 180, 158.3. I know ESPN created the QBR number, their own rating, because it's kind of outdated, the passer

rating, but we all saw it.

Hearts was magnificent.

And one of the things I noted here, and we need to talk about this more as we go along,

because this has been a problem with these receivers.
