Obviously, over the last week, we did a lot of coverage of the visit of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

They were in Washington, D.C., and then they were here in New York. And I think overall, it felt like they were really well received.

Christopher Anderson is a long-time royal watcher, writer, and always has a lot of great scoops on what's going on with the royal family, and we've worked together on a lot of royal events over the years. Last time we saw each other, I guess, was at the coronation of King Charles. So it's great to have you with us. Thank you very much for joining me. Great to be here. So your latest book, how many books have you written on the Royal Family?

Seven. And I've been covering them for 52 years, first at Time magazine and then at People magazine,

I ran the coverage for the magazine, Royal's coverage, in the 70s and 80s. So the whole Diana thing was

was really astounding. And I, by the way, do draw parallels

between Kate and Diana. But I always say that, you know, Diana used to say very sadly,

as a child I wanted to be wanted, you know, as a wife I wanted to be wanted, and that's not a problem that Kate has.

You know, Kate really has the kind of support from her family, kind of upbringing that really, you know,

perhaps prepared her for this position, and she has the support of a husband who loves her, you know.

Yeah, yeah, she, it certainly comes across that way 100%.
