Today's guest is Debbie Bright.

You might know her as the Mum on Tawi, you know, Lydia's mum, the one with the, you know, the wild hair.

Debbie is so much more than that.

I am recording this at the end of having this chat that you're about to listen to,

and at the end of it, I properly weep.

I don't know if Alex, the producer, is going to even keep that in,

or whether she's going to be like, let's take that out.

But I just think Debbie's an exceptional human.

She is one of the UK's longest serving foster carers in the UK.

She also has four birth children, two adopted children, two grandchildren.

She is a woman that likes to keep busy, constantly has children around,

and the most ironic thing of all is that she never wanted children to begin with.

Yet here she is.

She is exceptional, and I really hope you enjoy listening to this.

It's an amazing insight into foster care and what it means to be a foster family.
