It was a move that the U.S. had been warning was coming for months and was immediately

met with a swift response from President Biden.

We shared declassified evidence about Russia's plans and cyber attacks and false pretext

so that there could be no confusion or cover up about what Putin was doing.

Putin is the aggressor.

Putin chose this war, and now he and his country will bear the consequences.
