Summary

I call the path of the spiritual entrepreneur an "incubator for accelerated healing." This is because ALL of your stuff comes up on this path: your fears, resistance, triggers, self-doubt, self-sabotage, old wounds. And more!

This episode takes a behind-the-scenes look at the path of the spiritual entrepreneur and examines some of the intense fears and triggers that come up along the way. I draw some parallels between this path and the Fool's Journey (in Tarot), given that running your own spiritual business requires tremendous amounts of faith, trust, and the ability to take risks.

I also share why I think it's so important to become your own boss and create your own economy in light of recent world events.

I'm so happy you're here, and today I will be talking about the path of the Work. I'm so happy you're here and today I will be talking about the path of the

spiritual entrepreneur. So I've actually wanted to record this episode for a while and this topic

1:07.0

for today is really coming out of the current situation that we find ourselves in with

1:14.5

this, I mean, really unusual, unprecedented times, you know, with the COVID lockdown,

1:22.3

basically the global economy and the U.S. economy in a crisis and just all of the fears and anxieties

1:31.1

and worries and disruption that we are experiencing right now. A lot of anxiety, a lot of

1:38.2

fight or flight activation in our inner systems. So I think this is a good time to talk about the path of the spiritual entrepreneur

1:48.5

and how you can sort of forge a path for yourself that is not dependent on the external world.

2:00.1

Okay.

2:00.3

And I'm going to explain what a little bit more of what I mean by that later in the episode.

2:06.5

But really, you know, the main topic for today is centered around this idea that the biggest

2:14.1

gift you can give yourself, I believe at this point, is to work for yourself,

2:21.4

to be your own boss, to be self-employed, if you can do that, and to not be dependent on someone

2:27.9

else's business model or income or creativity or resourcefulness, right?

2:34.6

Because right now, I mean, we're seeing this very starkly in the world.

2:38.7

A lot of people have been laid off.

2:41.8

That might include you if you're listening to this and you've lost your job because of COVID.
