This is episode 36 of Inner Work, and I thought we and welcome back to the podcast. This is episode 36 of Inner Work,

and I thought we would go back to the beginning a little bit today. I know many of you have

been with me since the first episode of this podcast, back when it was still called Purefield Radio,

back in the old days. Now, husband Garrett and I started this project together

to have a platform where we could discuss spirituality, healing, and self-development. Our intention

in the very beginning was to deconstruct and demystify a number of spiritual texts, but we realized very quickly that the podcast needed to grow and shift in some unexpected ways.

So the original plan definitely changed along the way.

And ultimately, we decided that Garrett would stay behind the scenes,

and he's still the producer and editor of the podcast.

And so I would step into the foreground and become the sole host,

which of course I am to this day.

But back when we first started, we opened the podcast with three episodes on the foundational spiritual

text, a course in miracles. And I also know many of you out there are familiar with the

course and have studied it for many years. But I suspect that by now, new listeners who have

joined us are not familiar with the course, but they might be
