So thank you all for being here. I was struck at some point through the morning how quiet had gotten here and it felt very silent and I appreciated it.

Not that often you have some 40 people in a place where

there's a kind of stillness and silence that

maybe some of you noticed, maybe some of you didn't, but it made me more conscious of the inner silence,

because the inner silence is something that we can carry with us even in noisy places.

And so as we do this practice, there's a kind of attunedment after a while or recognition after a while of where

kind of a wonderful inner silence can accompany us.

And even while we're thinking. But usually the thinking is the noise in the mind.

Thinking a lot or having a lot of images that are spinning their stories and stuff like that and that it can

seem like a non-stop TV show in there or a non-stop talk, that seems noisy, but it's possible to step away from it and tune into a place

inside where there's feels like there's silence or stillness or spaciousness or something.

And one access point to that that I have is, is if you take any one sense store and just be attuned to that it's possible to feel how it's absent, the other sense towards

or absence in that, in and of itself.

So in seeing, there's silence between me and the object that I'm seeing.

In the air and the space, there's a kind of silence of my own thinking mind.

I might be thinking about it, but the seeing is just seeing without words.

Hearing, especially when meditation with the eyes have gotten

have just hearing and there's no nothing I'm being seen with the eyes.

The eyes have gotten quiet.
