Hello, my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you are ready right now

to get your minds aligned with the truth of God. That today before we dive in to our

scripture in Proverbs 11 verse 29, I want to draw your attention to not a needy person.

This is an organization, a nonprofit, that my wife and I have established with the help

of some friends. To enable believers in the body of Christ, to meet the needs of other

believers in the body of Christ, perhaps all around the world, you can find out more at

not a needyperson.org. But I just wanted to real briefly give you an example of some

of the situations that are currently on the website in need of support. We have a young

woman in London whose father died this past July and she has moved in with her mother

to help support her mother as she struggles through the grief and those kinds of things.

And the bills are piling up. Can you imagine that situation? Can you put yourself there

and know how much this young woman needs help? There's also a woman living in South Africa

who has no family and she needs a car to be able to go to work because she lost all

of her family back in 2008 and she's between jobs and homeless. Can you put yourself

in those shoes? Friends, those are just two of the situations. We also have a young man

who's been through kidney surgery, cancer and losing everything in a hurricane recently.

Can you just put yourself in that overwhelming tide of need and recognize that a gift, a blessing

given at the right time would be such a wonderful thing. This is all what we're doing at

not a needy person. We're vetting these needs, ensuring that they're legitimate and allowing

others to come alongside to help meet those needs as loving brothers and sisters in Christ.
