All right, let's dive in to Proverbs 11 verse number 30.

It says, the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.

And whoever captures souls is wise.

All right, well, let's take this one piece at a time.

Let's think about that beginning phrase. It's giving us agricultural imagery.

It's saying the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.

So imagine that the righteous are a tree and they are producing fruit.

Righteous people produce what kind of fruit?

Well, it's righteous fruit. It's good fruit.

Imagine it is juicy, sweet, big, nutritious fruit.

That's what a righteous life produces.

And the writer says that kind of fruit is a tree of life itself.
