politician who's running for state rep a couple of months ago. We spoke with a gentleman of a retired Marine Corps Colonel who was

running for office in Kentucky and now we're going to talk to another lieutenant colonel

Ingrid Centurion who's running for state rep in the state of Massachusetts.

Yeah, it's a pleasure to have you here and I know that reading some of your bio, you're in Iraq

war veteran and as well as being a small business owner, but you are a pilot and share with our listeners a little bit about your military career.

Yeah sure well I started flying when I was 16 and became a private pilot at 17 and so I share that story with everybody because I knew what I

wanted to be at a young age and I saved all my money and $3,000 and my mom drove me out to the airport and I became a private pilot four months later.

And then I decided, okay, I love this.

I want to be a commercial pilot and by the time I was 21 I had my

commercial license I was actually a CFI double-I multi-engine instrument

instructor so my dream at that time was to go fly for the airlines. I want to be that airline pilot,

delta pilot. But I got an Army ROTC scholarship so after college I had to go into the military and serve and I got active duty and I was

in flight school down at Fort Rucker.

Females back then, you know, we got the Huey transition

and then after that we would go to maintenance test pilot school.
