What are you working on that our listeners might find interesting that you'd like to discuss?

Well, I guess one of the projects we just, I just finished up an article that went up on our website last week is about a philanthropic effort called.

It's called the Decolonizing Wealth Project. And it's kind of interesting because last year

this group announced that they're trying for a one trillion,

you know, with a T, Moonshot is what they call it,

to encourage big philanthropy to engage in what it calls

reparative philanthropy.

And by this they mean, you know, they believe that philanthropic wealth across the world,

particularly in the United States, is rooted in, you know, oppression and colonialism and racism.

And they want big philanthropy to engage in giving that's specifically, in their mind, counteracts

this.

So in practice, this is left-wing activist groups

with a heavy, you know, racial ethnic prioritization in their grantmaking. And so I kind of went

through and, you know, the founder of this group is, his name is Edgar Villanueva.

And he previously worked at the Marguerite Casey Foundation, which probably

isn't surprising.
