I definitely know what the word erstwhile means. And let's not get into that right now. We've got a hell of a show for you today. We've got some absolutely wild YouTube stories. We've got a very lengthy rat, the story of the rat, we've got true YouTuber facts, we

unfortunately have a numbers segment, and I've got some very, very happy news about the Global

Award that the podcast is nominated for, and I owe you all a big thank you for that.

So without much further ado, let's get on with the show.

Show, got right to the end and then messed it up. I don't really want to do it all again. So... Let's just rename the show. This is now called the YouTube News Podcast Shone. If we could just change all the banners... I know we've paid for a lot of billboards, but... Just paint it over it. It'll be fine. On with the shown! Trisha Paitis has recreated an entire MCR video. video. An influencer who did a coronavirus prank on a plane

has apologized and explained himself, and it's just as bad as you think. And we're back for

another week. I hope you had a wonderful week, my friend. I had a good week. It was my birthday on

Wednesday. That was very nice. Turn 21 years old. Old enough to drink now, so that's quite nice.

Celebrated. Plus, I had a lovely birthday present because on my birthday, I got the news

that the YouTube News podcast had been selected for the shortlist at the Global Awards.

So I know I've gone about this every single week, but basically, it's nominated for Best Podcast

at the Global Awards, and I didn't actually know they were going to do this,

but there was a long list of nominees.

There was like 10, 12, possibly 100 podcasts that were originally nominated, and then all you guys,

and all those other stupid shows got their fans to vote, and then they whittled the whole thing down

to just five podcasts.

So it's our show, and then some other ones that are apparently also popular. So first of all, I just want to offer the biggest thank you to everyone who has voted. You've already got us over such a massive hurdle. That is incredible that we've made the shortlist. I mean, that's an honor in itself even to make a short list, seeing as we only started this show, two months ago or something, three months ago. It's not been going very long. So, thank you so much to everyone who voted. And now we're in the end game. We're in the Avengers end game, brackets 2019. This is it. This is where we really need to get voting like wild. Now, here's the fun part. You can reuse those email addresses you use the first time. You know how before you could only vote with your email address five times? Well, now, that's all been unlocked for some reason. I don't really understand the system. And you can use your old email addresses again, and you can get voting again. So you can vote five times per email address, and you can vote on as many email addresses as you want.

And I'll say that one more time, as many email addresses as you want. And maybe for a third time,

as many email addresses as you want, five times per email address. And of course, the website to vote is vote.com. Everything is there, vote.com. What a fun hyperlink.

I honestly really think we can win this, okay?
