We finally got some good news when it comes to inflation. New data out Thursday showed that

inflation is finally starting to slow down a bit. October's consumer price index or CPI rose

just 0.4% for the month and 7.7% from a year ago. That's the lowest yearly increase since January

by comparison. It rose 8.2% the month prior. Overall, inflation peaked at 9% in June. But that was

a new 40 year high. Some areas of improvement rental cars and used cars. Airfare is still much,

much higher. It's up 42% in just 12 months. Gas prices have leveled off. They were up about 60%

in June. That was when prices hit five bucks per gallon for the first time. Home energy costs

also improved. And motion investors certainly like what they heard the stock market had its best

day since 2020. Yeah, I'm reading the lead headline in CNBC and now DAO pops 1200 points. S&P 500
