President Donald Trump is speaking with world leaders from Japan and Panama today.

Earlier, he met with Japan's Prime Minister, the first Asian leader to meet Trump since his return to office.

Prime Minister Ishiaba and I spoke long and hard about a vital economic relationship between our two countries

and the continuance of that relationship.

Later today, Trump has a phone call with Panama's president, as tensions are high between

both nations over the Panama Canal, which Trump wants the U.S. to retake control over.

the American-Israeli alliance has never been stronger. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrapped up his trip to Capitol Hill this week, meeting with House Speaker Mike Johnson.

President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu both understand that peace is secure through

Americans across the board are fearing higher inflation rates this year.

That's according to a new consumer survey by the University of Michigan, which shows that most Americans, including Republicans, are worried about price increases.

The survey interviews concluded earlier this week, just a few days after the Trump administration

announced tariffs on Mexico and Canada.
