Oh, good morning. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Some weekends feel longer than others. Do you notice that? Of course you do. Can't just be me.

And obviously you don't work in London's fashionable, Leicester Square. So when you left work on

Friday, you didn't find yourself wading through a sea of Scottish people. And I mean, an ocean

of Scottish people. The scenes here before the most boring game I can remember watching were

absolutely unbelievable.

And I don't know, that's why it feels as if we've been apart for a few days rather than just for two.

But we are back together now.

And we return, I think, first, early doors this morning, to a story which, I mean, it both fascinates and appalls me it also engages me on a

level that is very human because it may not be a problem for me or for you we may sail

obliviously past this iceberg we may just slip between this Cillar and Carybdis without

ever being threatened by either. Or it could be arguably the worst thing that will ever happen to

many of us at the worst possible time in our lives. And I still, listen, you won't be surprised to learn that.

I do occasionally need to indulge in a little bit of ego management. So if I talk about something

on the program for, let's say we talk about something 30 times, 30 different shows on a similar

subject, which given how many years we've been doing this together now is, it, perfectly plausible. And at the end of doing it 30 times on 30 different shows, I turn

around and think, well, nothing's changed. And then the little voice, thankfully, in my head,

goes, why'd your neck in princess? Who do you think you are? And yet, I still get the impulse. I

still get the feeling. How many times

have we talked about social care? They still haven't done anything about it. Don't they know who we are?

Don't they know how important we are? Don't they listen to every single call coming into this

program and then tailor the political program for the country accordingly? Apparently not.
