January 1, 2007. At a Mayr 5, 7-4, a Boeing 737 with 102 people on board, is on-road on

a domestic Indonesian flight between Surabaya and Manado on a stormy afternoon. While navigating

to its destination, the flight begins to drift off course. Air traffic control contacts

accrue to give corrective advice, but the flight continues to stray from its normal course.

The pilots are having trouble with their navigation systems and try switching modes when their

displays go dark. The flight disappears from air traffic control radars, despite showing

it at 35,000 feet just seconds earlier. Days later, wreckages spotted in the ocean, but

the airline does not want to pay for recovery efforts.

Months pass and the mystery of Adam Air 5, 7-4 deep ends. What happened to this routine
