Norendra Modi but in any event

uh... norendra Modi no longer

controls the parliament he doesn't have a majority government.

Gregory, you've written about India projecting into the future, but at the present right now,

Modi's government has been qualified in some surprising fashion by the election.

What does this do for their geopolitical status for participating in the defense of the

Indo-Pacific?

Well I think that Prime Minister Modi and the B.J.P. his party, the Baharatiya,

Janata Party, are really speaking for the country when they assert a strong Indian power

projection in the Indo-Pacific. So I think from that point of view he's going to get

support from his coalition partners. Of course, Raoul Gandy is going to belittle the chances

for success for Prime Minister Modi going forward because he doesn't have a majority government solely

controlled by the B.J.P. However, he is leading overwhelmingly the greatest

party in Parliament and does have control of his, well say control,

he has influence over some of the smaller parties which are in coalition.
