and the response of the worldwide community. And we're looking now at 200 million Muslims in the Republic of India and the

puzzle remains why this extreme prejudice reaction? Why does this serve anyone to stir up the

hatreds we thought we'd solved in the sacrifice of the 20th century.

Saturnan, I don't single out the Muslims in India

because I've been reporting the United States,

our most distinguished campuses.

I've been reporting London, Central London.

I've been reporting the remarks that are made casually in Germany now,

with an alternative for Deutschland in Germany

rising up with these hardly coded anti-Semitic remarks. So I come to the Muslims in

India is this a come to the Muslims in India. Is this a surprise to the Indian media? I don't see it

routinely so I don't know. Good evening to you.

Very good evening, John. Yes, I mean I think what we've seen since the horrible events of

October 7th in Israel is quite disturbing. The Indian Muslim minority, it's about 200 million strong, but it's not a very

large percentage of the population. It's about 14% of the population. And what we've seen from Muslim politicians, activists, and journalists almost across the board

is a kind of reflexive knee-jerk support for the Palestinian position and more disturbingly a failure to call out

and condemn the horrific atrocities committed by Hamas.
