Summary

Aaron Miller helps lead VOM's work in South Asia, including the nation of India, where he previously served full-time as a gospel worker. Listen in as Aaron shares what happened when he found himself at a Christian gathering in India that was attacked by radical Hindus. It was a small taste of persecution that was a part of God's preparation for Aaron to serve persecuted Christians in India and other South Asian nations. It was also a blessing. Even as he was being slapped and kicked, Aaron says God gave him a sense of His presence, His blessing. 0:00.0	So it was February 2nd and I was at a meeting with some Indian pastors.
0:07.0	We got ready to go, we had a flight to catch, and about that time we heard some commotion behind us. And there were a And about 30,
0:13.0	20, 20 to 30 young men coming in, they had
0:15.0	a group of about 30, maybe 20 to 30 young men coming in.
0:19.7	They had bandanas across the lower half of their faces and they were all carrying bamboo sticks.
0:26.0	So we calmly walked with a group of other people who were trying to get downstairs quickly.
0:31.0	And when we got downstairs to basically a lobby area, the door was blocked.
0:36.0	There were about 30 to 40 more men with sticks blocking the door.
0:41.0	So everybody funneled to that lobby type area
0:44.8	and just kind of stopped.
0:47.2	And then I got a little bit more concerned.
0:49.9	At that point, we began looking for an alternate way to go out, a back door, a window large enough,
0:56.2	whatever we needed to do, and there was none.
