I just got back from a quick three-night cruise on Independence of the Season,

wanted to share some of my thoughts and experiences from the ship,

including a couple of things I did completely differently on On Barcation Day.

It's a little strange for me to have not got on a cruise since June, but in this way that it

works, I went on my first cruise since the, well, really it was the beginning of July, because we

disembarked in July, but you get the idea. You know, for myself who's been going on a cruise

now, especially since the shutdown and cruising industry restarted, I'd really be going

on a cruise about once every calendar month. And this is a longer gap. We went on the Royal

Marine Blog Group cruise on Navigator of the Seas, which you could have heard about in episode

But, you know, a lot of happens since then.

My kids were on summer break.

We did a nice little trip of the West Coast.

School got back into session.

And quite frankly, I was a little busy.

So all of that contributed to being a little bit of a gap since my last cruise.

And this cruise that we booked, we booked it a little while ago.

I want to say four to six months ago, something in that ballpark,
