Welcome to our Rosedary Meditation.

This is day nine of the Divine Mercy Novina.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. While this time of separation from

the Eucharist and reconciliationciliation is painful. It is also

providential for all things fall within the providence of God. He is using this

time to increase our desire for him.

This is a time that should make us thirst for an encounter with God

through the Eucharist and reconciliation.

It's very similar to the time of separation that Mary Magdalen experienced from the body of Christ on Holy Saturday. And from a homly by Gregory the Great, he writes,

When Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and did not find the Lord's body.

She thought it had been taken away and so informed the disciples.

After they came and saw the tomb, they too believed what Mary had told them. but the text says the disciples went back home, but Mary

wept and remained standing outside the tomb. We should reflect on Mary's attitude and the great love she felled for Christ.

For though the disciples had left the tomb, she remained. She was still seeking the

to seek Christ was the only one to see Him. When our desires are not satisfied, they grow stronger, and becoming stronger, they take hold of their object.
