Welcome to Manager Tools. This week the conclusion of the inaugural Manager Tools case study,

including the response that actually happened on the ground. What really happened. Here we go.

Dan, we got through about half of the list last week and we have to power on through and

finish and honor everybody who was kind enough to send us their recommendations.

We're going to start with another licensee, Andy Graves.

Andy started with a nice introduction and then gave us a brief case study and said, there's

turbulence, culture needs to shift leaves us in a bind we don't

know productivity metrics sales projections are flat and so on I like the idea of

summarizing just get a baseline I like that.

Yeah, just in my case I just write it down.

What do I know?

And writing it down, I find out stuff that is inevitably true but I didn't know that I knew until I thought through

the existing knowledge. Andy says first things to do, determine what the key

leading metrics are to measure the business.

One's got to be productive so we can have conversations on performance in six to eight weeks.

Absolutely Andy and let's do this with the CEO,FO do it early. It's good to know the

context that you're operating in I fully agree with this. Good. Perform

customer interviews with top customers prioritize biggest bugs or enhancements.

We need to turn our reputation around.

That includes, get Victor involved here.

He has a passion about it.
