I invite you to take a Bible, either one that you may have brought or one from underneath the pew in front of you, or if you prefer just to listen.

If you're going to turn, turn to Hebrews chapter 1, verses 1 through 4.

I've been praying for some time now about what in this cluster of holy weak messages I might say

or what I think the Lord would like to say through me it's Palm Sunday and then it's Monday Thursday and then

it's Easter and Palm Sunday the coming of the Lord was so good to walk into the choir room early this morning

while the children were getting ready and one of the adult leaders just had this big smile on her face and she looked at me and she said

Jesus is king I love Palm Sunday. I was at all I wish everybody loved Palm Sunday like that but he's king and he has come so that's what

today is about and then Thursday night we'll be back here and the communion table will be

spread and we do the service a little later because it's a it's a

later and darker moment in the life of Jesus and that's the death.

And then Easter Sunday will be here and we'll do our He is risen and that's about

resurrection and raining and so where do you where do you go if you were going to

preach three times where would you go?

And I felt constrained to go to this text for all three messages.

So I'm going to read with you now,

verses 1 to 4 of Hebrew 1, and I think you'll see enough in these four verses to

amply supply three messages from the Lord this week and into next Sunday.

God after he spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets and in many portions, in ways in these last days has spoken to us

in his son whom he appointed heir of all things through whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom he made the world. And he is the radiance

of his glory and the exact representation of his nature

and upholds all things by the word of his power

when he had made purification of sins.
