and to continue to talk about it. I want to bring in my partner, Brian Bush. John, it was a must-win

game for Michigan, and the Wolverines played with an urgency, and that's impressive, especially

considering all the players, they had to shuffle in some of the departures, absences, in-game injuries they had to contend with.

Yeah, and I mean, to be able to go up 7-0 early in the game, that was huge.

It was a little bit disheartening to go into the locker room 7-7.

But if you told us that you were only going to give up seven points to Washington, one throughout the entire game,

but just in the first half with as explosive as they are and as dynamic as Desmond Williams is, I would have

taken that every single day. And now all of a sudden you're looking at it going, okay, well,

Bryce was 21 to 27, and we mentioned the drops. It could have been 25 of 27. That's unbelievable accuracy. But it's not just easy, you know, five or seven-yard throws. He was throwing the ball downfield, and one of the drops by Tenelli was a great pass. It was accurate. It was a small window. Put it right where he had to be. Yet it was a drop. And then he comes back later, still trust in his tight end and throws that ball to a spot. Deaconanelli gets there and makes a huge catch. That's just one example of the growth that we've seen from Bryce Underwood. And I thought his performance was great. But this was, I mean, we've talked about it all week. This is playoff football. You've got a win out if you've got any hope, any desire to be in the college football

playoffs.

It's a win or everything changes.

And the Michigan team responded today.
