Welcome to this Abide Bedtime story, walking in the footsteps of Jesus.

Jesus walked the earth some 33 years,

teaching and performing miracles.

He lived as a carpenter, teaching not just with his words,

but by his actions.

As you prepare for sleep, remember, Jesus said, seek and you will find.

As you seek Jesus tonight, may he visit you in your dreams and you find comfort he brings.

Before we begin, get under the covers, letting your body get in a very comfortable position.

When you feel ready and relaxed, close your eyes.

Listen to your breathing.

Don't change it.

Just listen to it.

As you gently inhale, breathe in all the love God has for you.

As you exhale, feel all your distractions leave.

Any aches and pains, any worries, any and all distractions.

Put your hand over your heart.
