The biggest thing that I've had to learn is this distinction between slowing down,

which had you told me to slow down, even a year or two ago, I would have looked at you

like you were crazy. What I actually am looking for is moments of stillness, moments of presence. So it's not a

complete slowing down. It's bringing more presence into the moment to moment parts of my day.

That stillness moment is where I can connect with the part of me that I'm building trust with, that deeper intuition.

It feels like I know what I'm supposed to do here.

There is this term that I've heard used a little bit on social media recently, and it's

had me go down this, this is if you want to know how my brain tends to function. I will go down

these rabbit holes of all these different thoughts that one single conversation can spark, and then I start to think about how it connects

to all of us. And the initial start of this rabbit hole, let's say, was this article I saw

referenced that Forbes came out with in December of 2025 talking about how right now there is

a trust recession. And they were talking about it more from the

standpoint of as businesses, we should be aware that trust in general is really starting

to change. People are losing trust in companies. They're losing trust in government.

They're losing trust in advertising. And I think

it's, it really speaks to this journey that we've kind of been on and how we've been taught to

relate to ourselves and also to the people in our lives. And I think this whole conversation of

the trust recession, not only can it influence

the way we do business, I actually think there's a really important lesson for each of us

individually because my take on it was this is so in line with a positive shift that I'm

actually noticing in myself, in the people in our
