With an incoming tide you don't get much flow which is why the floating heads actually people that was using a floating head in an incoming tide you could still get enough swing to get the fish actually interested in your flies because you were still swinging and the fish would move some distance I mean, me and Brian started playing with like foam

flies and floating flies that you could

pop near the surface

and you could actually see fish

charge at your fly from about

15 feet away, big bow wave

you fly and we're talking like

30, 40 pound fish doing this. It was

really good fun.
