Hi, I'm Averta Glass, and you're listening to my true crime report at the Nexium trial on Thursday to watch former Nexium member take the stand, Mark Vecente, breaking down and saying, it's a fraud, it's a lie, it's a well-intentioned veneer that covers horrible, incredible evil. Stay tuned. There's two things that I didn't talk about last episode.

One is the security at the trial.

You have to go through two security checkpoints to get into the courtroom.

And those security checkpoints are very much like what you would go through at an airport,

minus the taking off of shoes.

The second point that I didn't bring up was Keith Rennary's appearance. And the reason was

I really couldn't see very well. I thought he was wearing a green, maybe a green sweater,

maybe a green shirt. I found out he was wearing a gray sweater, veneck sweater for the first day of the trial.

And on Thursday, he was wearing a kind of blue, bright blue sweater that was so reminiscent of the sweaters that Lyle Lianndez and Eric Menendez were dressed

in the kind of preppy, I'm too gentle to commit a crime type sweaters that they were wearing

in that trial. When I saw Keith Rennerary wearing this blue sweater, I was immediately reminded of the Menendez

brothers and I thought, oh, you know, they're trying to dress him to make him look

gentle and inoffensive and maybe a little younger, just like they did with the Menendez

brothers.

And when I had a break from trial, I found a crewneck version of the sweater that Keith

Rennary was wearing in court that day on Lyle Menendez.

Obviously, you can't take pictures in court, so I can't show you,
