0:36.3	that she is stepping down, sort of. She'll continue to represent her San Francisco
0:40.5	district in the house, but she will no longer lead the caucus that she has
0:43.8	guided for over two decades. The announcement marks the end of her
0:47.1	remarkable rise that took Pelosi from Baltimore, where she was the daughter of a
0:51.1	political dynasty to San Francisco, where she was a stay at home mom and
0:55.2	Democratic activist, and finally to Congress, where she became the first woman
0:59.9	ever to serve as Speaker of the House. My guest this week, Molly Ball, has

1:17.7	having me. Great to be here. So the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, is
1:21.5	stepping back from the speaker ship. You surprised? Yes and no. There's been
1:26.6	pressure on her to step down for more than a decade now. Pressure that she's
1:31.7	resisted. And as we know, when she takes a position, she doesn't tend to
