So, Melissa, we've given people some awesome recommendations of what to plants in fall as well as how to

extend their season, whether that be at the beginning and spring or at the end and fall.

Now what about things that we need to be doing to our most important asset in the

garden which would be our soil are there some things that we need to think about as

we do go into a bit slower period in the garden to make sure that our soil is set up

for the next year.

Yeah, there's actually quite a bit that you can do in fall.

And I think one of my favorite things about is a lot of the stuff that we do in fall.

Nature does the workforce over the winter, and I love gardening. but if I can find a way to have something be improved

and I just have to do very little work and nature can do the rest, I'm all about it.

So that's where a lot of my tips are going to come in for today. So the

first thing and I know this sounds pretty obvious is remove your old plants. So even

if they didn't have any noticeable signs of bacteria or fungus or

disease or anything like that, you want to make sure that you don't just let them die
