I'm your host Michael, and on today's episode we talk about run training for triathletes and training for and raising duathlans and why triathletes should give it a go.

My guest today is Eric Schwartz. He has raised triathlons and duaflons at an elite level for 16 years and has been coaching triathletes and du athletes since the year of 2000.

0:55.1

He ran competitively at Indiana University, and in 2004, he won the US duathlon national championships.

1:03.7

And he's also the host of the popular triathlet training podcast, which is a good one.

So it's good that we address it now. It's actually pretty poor planning on my part to wait

1:53.9

19 episodes until we talk about it about running specifically. My apologies for that. And

1:59.3

it's particularly weird given that running is my favorite

subject to talk about, probably. It's the favorite sport for me of the three triathlon sports.

2:09.2

But let's make it right in just a minute in the interview. Just a quick word about duathlon before

2:14.6

that so that you don't tune out at this point because you think that

2:17.6

well duathlon that's not something that I'm interested in. I just want to say it's crazy that so
