Hey, everyone, this is Dr. Roushaud with some advice for functional medicine patients.

So if you're a patient working with the functional medicine practitioner,

there's one piece of advice I'd like to give you that I think will be very helpful,

and that is regarding questions. And here's a little bit of context, and bear with me as I try to explain this.

I think on the patient end, it's maybe a good feeling to say I walked into that visit, I asked every question

that I had, and I used every minute that was available with a doctor or with the clinician.

I can understand how that would, from the patient perspective, seem like the way to go.

However, that actually may not be an optimum strategy.
