I've always loved cherry blossoms.

There are a few trees on my running path,

and I often stop just to witness them for a moment.

Knowing that they'll be in bloom for such a short period of time

makes me feel particularly grateful for their beauty.

I recently read a quote on impermanence that said

it's impossible not to feel moved while standing under a cherry blossom.

As symbols of the fleeting nature of life,

they open our heart to the preciousness of each moment.

Feeling the truth of impermanence can push us to act bravely

As we get older, we feel time moving by much more quickly.

I find it helpful to thank this feeling, this urgency,
