Welcome to this week's roundtable, looking back on another week of nonstop breaking news.

It's around 8.30 a.m. on Friday, December 13, just hours before the House Judiciary Committee

and a straight partisan vote will undoubtedly adopt two articles of impeachment against President

Donald J. Trump and send them to the floor for a full vote by the House next week.

Assuming the House does vote to impeach Trump, it looks like the only question in the Senate

is not will the Senate vote to acquit or impeach, but how long will the trial last?

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of the Justice Department says the FBI had every good reason

to launch an investigation into the Donald Trump

campaign back in 2016, but Attorney General Bill Barr and President Donald Trump disagree.

And on the 2020 front, Michael Bloomberg spending more money than any candidate ever in history,

but will it get him any votes?

And Democratic candidates prepare to take the stage for the last debate of 2019.
