0:24.8	Your imagination matters more than you realize because it has the ability to shape your entire
0:29.8	relationship to God and to the people around you.
0:33.2	Take this example.
0:34.4	Think of a dog that's been physically beaten many times by its previous owner.
0:39.3	And now let's say that that dog escapes the terrible place and finds its way into a gentle house.
0:45.0	Shortly after it gets into the house, his owner lifts up his hand abruptly over the dog to grab
0:49.4	something falling off a cabinet above him. What does the dog do?
0:54.0	Well, of course, the dog flinches.
0:55.0	The dog runs away in terror.
0:57.0	It doesn't understand that his master was trying to save him from something falling on top of him.
1:00.0	He simply thinks that he's going to be hit again.
1:03.0	He said a dog has an imagination and imagination that has been shaped by his experience.
1:10.0	His imagination fills in the gaps of what's happening around him and helps him predict and guess what's going to happen in the future.
1:17.0	His imagination shades his experiences.
1:21.0	Of course we humans are much more complex than dogs, but that doesn't mean we don't do similar things.
