Daniel Hurwitz by the way back here I do apologize for the long weekend you know it was the Jewish

New Year and it's the time God sits in judgment and we certainly see that we are facing God's judgment.

We don't know why certain people get affected, but here we are.

I left on Wednesday and we're back still talking about the weather but the weather affects us more than anything

both the aftermath of the last hurricane particularly in North Carolina and then now the

new one headed towards Florida.

So we're going to spend a lot of time this week

talking about both the weather itself,

you know, the truth about whether and what we can and cannot do about it.

God confronts us. what we can and cannot do about it.

God confronts us with challenges,

but ultimately, it is our job to take those lemons

and make lemonade.

And I think we're seeing so much of that with the voluntary help, you know, charities,

NGOs, private people getting together as well as some of the out the out of state assets in North Carolina

juxtapose to what we're seeing from our broken social compact
