Today on The Grave Talks Beyond Imagination, a conversation with Shelley Pruitt. Children in their imagination, sometimes they can take unexpected or even comical turns.

But what happens when you can't be sure of what your child is telling you is real or imagine?

Is the impossible always so impossible when you're a child?

These are questions that Shelley Pruitt had to ask herself when she found herself the target of

something unexplained for five years of her young life.

I believe my very first experience that I can recall

wasn't just one experience. It was a series of experiences. And it started about the time that I was

four years old. My brother was born in October and I had just turned four in August.

And I began to see what my four-year-old brain interpreted as being goats,

goats that would walk back and forth outside of the door to my room.

So take that as you will, but that's what I saw.

And I didn't see them one time.

I saw them every night for a very long time.

I remember I would lay in my bed and I would have my stuffed puppy dog under one arm

and my stuffed kitty cat under the other,

and I would watch the goats go back and forth.

And I would get up in the morning and I would tell my mother, I'm like, can you please not let the goats in today, mommy?

I don't, the goats keep me awake.

Don't let the goats in tonight.

Of course, my mother's looking at me like I'm crazy going, we don't have any goats.

What are you talking about?

There's no, we don't, you know, we live in the country, but we don't have any goats.
