I just want to say at the very start of this podcast, this podcast is dedicated to Philip Westrin, an electronic musician who died a few days ago on February 9th, 2019.

He was only 47 years old.

Phil Westron was one of Kevin Keyes, Kevin Key of Skinny Puppies' primary collaborators.

After Skinny Puppie sort of dissolved the first time after the process, the skinny puppy lost one of their later members, Dwayne Goetel, to a heroin overdose before that album came out.

And Phil Western was sort of in that same orbit. He knew Dwayne Goetel. He became one of Kevin Key's

collaborators at that point forward and became like his main musical collaborator in the band

little bit but he went on with Kevin Key to work in a skinny puppy offshoot side project called
