subways has been a huge, huge problem.

Folks getting pushed onto the tracks, one day there was either five or six separate

incidents of people getting stabbed on the subway.

I mean, that's a real problem.

And I think some of the problem is, is the way that we now police the subways.

Instead of it being proactive, it's reactive. And that is proven by the huge amount of money

that the MTA has spent in putting cameras in the subway system,

which is a great idea.

It's a great idea to have cameras.

However, cameras catch the event as it's occurring.

They don't prevent the crime.

They absolutely help the police in capturing the perpetrator or perpetrators. However,
