We've all heard that saying in sickness and in health. It's part of the classic wedding vows.

But how do you stay committed when the health part really breaks down and requires a lot of extra effort?

I'm John Fuller, along with Greg Smalley and his wife, Erin. They lead the

focus marriage team. Aaron, sickness comes into life and makes it challenging. That's kind of where

we get to test out that part of the vow in sickness and in health. Well, even just this morning,

I'm laughing and Greg is smiling too because I went to see a cardiologist because I found out recently that I'm adopted.

My birth father passed away very early from a cardiac event.

And so I was like, I'm going to go in.

I'm going to do this thing.

See what they say.

And they did my EKG and it popped up on my phone on the patient portal what it said.

And it read something that was abnormal.

So I was like, oh my gosh, so I text him, don't hear a word.

So, I mean, I could have been having a major cardiac event and he wasn't responding.

I was present.

I had a meeting and I'm presenting.

So I'm not even looking at my phone.

Not even for you.

Until I look down.

Yeah.

And so I was like, I think you texted back and said, I'm in a meeting.

And I was like, I'm going to get him because just to be a little passive,
