If you stop watching porn, this will happen. Did you know that your brain literally rewires itself when you quit porn? It doesn't just affect your spiritual life. It actually affects your brain chemistry, your relationships and your emotional health.

In this video we will explore what happens spiritually and scientifically when you stop watching porn.

Now one of the first things that happens when you stop watching porn is you will feel conviction lifted.

Pornography brings guilt, shame, and secrecy into your life. It creates a heavy burden

spiritually. If you try to hide it and you fell for it like oh I'm just so sorry Lord,

like that residue of that shame and guilt, it stays and lingers.

In Psalm 32 verses 3 to 5, it says,

When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and you forgave the guilt of my sin. See, porn thrives in secrecy.

Confession and repentance brings freedom. Guilt will isolate you from important relationships.

And if you are married from intimacy with your spouse. But purity, it reconnects you spiritually and socially. See, God does promise

cleansing and forgiveness when we genuinely repent. I remember in my past life when I was addicted

to pornography and the shame, the guilt that it carries and and the sickness that I felt on the inside,

and until that repentance, until that freedom, that deliverance, you know, you're like

hemorrhaging spiritually, and it's very painful. It breaks intimacy with God, but most

importantly as well, it hurts you on the inside. Second thing will

happen to you if you stop looking at pornography is your brain will heal. Porn acts like a drug,

overloading your brain with dopamine. Over time, your brain adjust, craving stronger stimuli, causing addiction. According to neuroscientist Dr. Andrew

Hubberman, abstaining from porn allows dopamine receptors in your brain to reset, restoring the natural reward system.
