There's a reason that you're different.

You feel like you stand out like you don't quite fit in anywhere.

There's a reason that you feel everything around

you is changing. It's the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The anointing, simply put, is the power

of the Holy Spirit. To be anointed is to be marked by God, to be given a divine assignment,

to be empowered unto a special purpose, to be set apart from everyone

else. In 1 Samuel chapter 10, verse 6, we read, at that time, the spirit of the Lord will come

powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with him. You will be changed into a different

person. You become a different man. You become a different woman. This is why you can

feel that tension, that tension of transformation. You're not quite where you want to be, but you can

definitely feel like everything around you is being shaken. You're exiting one season, even though you

can't quite see what's in the next season.

Here are the four things that begin to happen, four markings that come upon your life,

when you walk in the favor of God in this way.

Number one, position.

Now the Lord said to Samuel, you have mourned long enough for Saul. I have rejected him as king of Israel,

so fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem. Find a man named Jesse who lives there,

for I have selected one of his sons to be my king. So the Lord now has rejected Saul as king,
