You know, there's always more that can be known about the precious Holy Spirit.

In the scripture we read Psalms

1037, He may known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. You see, some are

only familiar with the actions that God takes, but very few actually know his nature. In Isaiah 4515, we read, verily, thou art a God that

hightest thyself, O God of Israel, the Savior. Now, why is it that God has a hiding nature?

Why does it seem that sometimes he conceals the different facets of his person within symbolism

and mystery? It's because the Lord wants to be

sought. Acts 1727 declares his purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps fill

their way toward him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. And Proverbs 252 says,

it is God's privilege to conceal things and the king's

privilege to discover them. So God conceals and we search out the nature of God. The nature,

the power, the presence, the ministry of the Holy Spirit is described all throughout the

scripture from Genesis to Revelation. And sometimes the Holy Spirit is mentioned very specifically,

like in Acts chapter 1, verse 8, but you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

He's very directly mentioned there. Sometimes the Holy Spirit is mentioned in a subtle way in that you can see

his power at work, but he's not necessarily specifically referenced. And then there are times

when the Holy Spirit is referenced in symbolism. That is, there are mysterious, ancient symbols of

the Holy Spirit that reveal facets of his nature. You know, Jesus spoke in parables.

Matthew 13, 11 to 12 says, he replied, you are permitted to understand the secrets of the kingdom

of heaven, but others are not. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given,
