I want to start with a very human moment, probably one that many of us have had, a season where my days were full and meaningful, but also very packed.

I was working full-time as a nurse, teaching mindfulness in the evenings, building my practice, and supporting my

family through a tender time. One morning, I stood in my kitchen with my phone in my hand.

Messages stacked up, emails about a class, family text, reminders about things I needed to follow up on. Small things mostly, but so many of them.

And my system hit a wall. I stood there staring at the screen and couldn't decide what to answer first.

My mind felt crowded and my body felt stuck. And that moment helped me name something clearly.

This is what it feels to be overwhelmed.

It's the kind of feeling that comes from too many tabs open in your mind.
