Welcome everyone to the PFF Fantasy Podcast, IDP edition. I'm John Macri. And with rookie season

wrapped, it's time to move to the dynasty rankings portion of the off season before we

fully dive into the 2025 redraft content. And what better way to kick that off than by talking

some linebackers. I'll be running through my top 24 dynasty linebackers

today, breaking down kind of my thoughts and rationale and hopefully helping you guys sort

them for either your dynasty startup drafts or, you know, just how to value the guys that

you might already have on your roster. So plenty to get into here. So let's get it.

All right, whether you're playing in a tackle heavy league, true position, or even big play scoring, one thing's for sure, linebackers, they don't always have to be the most important position, but they are often the most popular position. And the reason being tackles,

right? Tacels are king in IDP and just much more common than SACs, right? So while Sacks for our

edge defenders can be the key to helping us win our weeks or our leagues. It's the tackles that keep us in the fight every week.

And there are no greater contributors to that stat than the linebackers.

Now, I will say before I even get into the rankings, dynasty linebacker rankings

and redraft linebacker rankings are very different, least for me anyways because for redraft we just

want guys who will be playing full-time roles it doesn't matter their age or their pff grades just

just being a 100% snap player is going to lead to production and we don't need to get too picky when

that's the case so for dynasty we can pickier, even though there's still plenty of

value in grabbing those one-year wonder types when it comes to, you know, having to rank

these guys long term, though, we're looking for full-time potential team investment in that player.

Basically, you know, that could be represented by contract or draft capital. And then age

obviously can play a factor as well, right? Though it's not overly important since we get

plenty of linebackers that still start as 100% players into their 30s. And they're more

effective than, you know, say like 30something wide receivers or running backs, right?
