I've had a couple of people ask on the Facebook discussion group and through messages to do an episode on the University of Idaho murders since some new bits of evidence has been released.

In particular, the 911 call.

I have done an episode on it back in 2023.

The info I have on that is still valid on how the alleged killer was tracked down

and what happened leading up to and after the murders.

So I thought I'd do in addition to that episode, adding in the 911 call,

and a bit of discussion on it, and then refreshing everyone on the other info.

Without chatting too much about it right now, let's get straight into everything else.

The town of Moscow, Idaho is a smaller place, with only a little over 25,000 people for the population.

Located along the state border with Washington, there's not much that happens around there.

Okay. Most of you before a couple of months ago probably had never heard of it.

The area is sometimes called hog heaven because of the camus bulbs, which are a favorite crop amongst farmers to give

as pig feed. It's really your average small town if you have a picture of that in your head.

Farmers mark it on Main Street every weekend in the spring through fall. A jazz fest,

Renaissance Fair.

You get the idea.

Probably the most notable thing until recently is the University of Idaho, which is located there in Moscow.

Their football team, whose mascot is called the Vandals, play at one of the smallest indoor stadiums in America,

this one called the Kibbi Dome.

In fact, going on the small town fill of Moscow, it's generally very peaceful.

There hasn't been a single murder there since 2015.
